Most people who call have never been inside a jail, do not know what a bond is, and are frightened. We answer in person at every hour, explain the whole process before any money changes hands, and tell you honestly how long the release is likely to take at that particular facility.
The premium is a percentage of the bail amount set by state law, the paperwork takes minutes, and a payment plan is available on most bonds. What we do not do is lecture, judge, or add fees nobody mentioned on the phone.
